Clutch Size: 6 to 12 eggs
Incubation Period: 21 to 23 days
Habitation: Native to forests in mountainous areas of western China, but feral populations have been established in the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, the Falkland Islands, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.In England they may be found in East Anglia in the dense forest landscape of the Breckland as well as Tresco on the Isles of Scilly.

Common Name: Lady Amherst Pheasant
Scientific Name: Chrysolophus amherstiae
Clutch Size: 5 to 12 eggs
Incubation Period: 21 to 23 days
Habitation: The species is native to southwestern China and far northern Myanmar, but has been introduced elsewhere, and has established a self-supporting, but now believed extinct, feral population in England, the stronghold of which was in West Bedfordshire.
Conservation Status: Least Concern (IUCN 3.1)
